What are good language skills?
Good language skills in the language of instruction at the host university are essential for a successful study abroad and need to be attested prior to your exchange.
Sufficient language proficiency within the Erasmus+ Program is regarded as follows:

How do I prove my proficiency in a language?
When applying at LMU for a spot in the Erasmus+ Program, you may prove your language proficiency with:
- Abiturzeugnis (English: at least 7 years of study, must be completed with "gut"/10 Punkte; all other languages: at least 5 years of study, must be completed with "gut"/10 Punkte)
- Certificate of the LMU Sprachenzentrum
- passed language proficiency test, such as TOEFL (iBT, min. 87 points), IELTS, Cambridge Certificate, etc.
- DAAD-Sprachzeugnis (may be issued by the LMU Sprachenzentrum)
