Venice International University

Venice International University was established in 1995 as a conjoint initiative of several international universities. This is something unique in the academic world: a group of universities from all over the world are sharing a common campus, located on the Island of San Servolo in the Venice lagoon. The focus at VIU is on international cooperation in research. The academic staff and the students reflect the internationality of VIU: every year, professors, researchers, and about 150 students from over 20 nations visit VIU.
